Joseph W. Catharine Born: June 3rd, 1857 at sea, going from New York to Liverpool aboard the clipper ship, Carrier Dove. His father it turns out happened to be the captain of the Carrier Dove at the time.
He became the head of the board of Education in Philadelphia
