In February of 2019 I got a call from a Mr. Miles Deverson at Lloyds Archives. (Irfoundation.org.)
He had seen the Carrier Dove web page and offered to send me the 1871 St Johns Survey of the Carrier Dove when she was getting ready to make another Cape Horn passage for Callao. After the Survey she would leave from Montreal and then head for Peru! Her master at the time was Captain Fish.
